I had never met this wonderful East River artist before, but I saw him several times during his one week pilgrimage to the Black Hills and Bear Butte several years ago. It was at Bear Butte that he created this image.

It is now preserved and protected by a subtle real cherry wood frame with suede matting. Starkey’s image has been floated within the mat opening. In short – it is a beautiful presentation; a companion piece in a similar but different oak frame is also available.
